Message from Assistant Dean David White
Welcome to the Alumni and Friends section of the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy website.
In my role as Assistant Dean, Advancement and Alumni Affairs, I am privileged to have the opportunity to speak and meet with many of you on a regular basis. I take particular pleasure in hearing the wonderful stories you have of your time at Pharmacy. I have also witnessed first hand just how powerful and formative the Pharmacy experience is for our students, and why our alumni remain so connected to both the Faculty and their classmates.
With this in mind, we have redesigned the Alumni and Friends section of the website to make it easier for you to stay connected with the Faculty. You can use these pages to find stay up-to-date on all of the exciting new developments at the Faculty, view Rxcellence, our outstanding alumni magazine, stay informed of the accomplishments of your fellow distinguished alumni, and find information on the numerous events and reunions offered to alumni. Finally, the website highlights some of the ways you can get involved in the life of the Faculty, from providing a financial donation to serving as a member of the Alumni Association to reunion planning. I encourage you to explore and take advantage of these many wonderful opportunities.

Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni Association
As you are aware, the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy has transformed into one of the largest faculties of pharmacy in North America over the past decade, providing leading education and experience to our students and garnering an international reputation for innovation and research. Now that we have settled into our new building, we are refocusing our attention to enhancing the student experience, augmenting the tremendous programs offered at the Faculty, and advancing the innovations and research discoveries carried out by our investigators.
In response to this, we are re-establishing the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni Association. The purpose of the Association will be to promote interaction and fellowship among the alumni of the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and to promote their role within the University of Toronto. The Association will provide valuable guidance and support in promoting the Annual Fund and other alumni fundraising initiatives. It will also act as a liaison to assist in fostering good relations and understanding between the Faculty and its various professional, community and industry partners.
We would like to invite all alumni to join the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni Association. In this role, you will assume a central place among Pharmacy alumni, helping us to expand alumni involvement and commitment to the Faculty.
We are also looking for alumni to sit on the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association. The Executive Committee will meet twice annually and oversee the business of the Alumni Association.
