Dear faculty, staff and students:

This week the University announced emerging plans for how we will approach the Fall 2020 Semester. Thank you to our course coordinators, APPE preceptors and other partners in education for working to plan how we will continue to deliver high quality educational experiences for our students.

In addition, U of T’s Vice-President, Research & Innovation has also published U of T’s Principles for Research Recovery & Adaptation. As you know, our reopening plans are also underway and we will continue to keep you informed as our plans progress. A reminder that, at this time, the Pharmacy Building is only open to those who have already been approved for specific research or other activities.

New “I’m Pharmacy” Podcast launched today

The new I'm Pharmacy podcast dives deep into both emerging professional trends in pharmacy practice and breakthrough science led by our world-leading faculty and research teams at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. Congratulations to Certina Ho who helped create the first season along with Kendra Carroll (PharmD, 2T0) as producer, Samuel Chan (PharmD, 1T9) and Laura Lee (PharmD, 2T0) as hosts.

Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy Live Webinar

We also hosted our second live webinar, A global challenge: How do we prioritize access to a COVID-19 vaccine? Led by Associate Professor Alison Thompson, this webinar addressed pressing questions around allocation of a potential vaccine and how lessons managing drug shortages in hospital and community settings might inform distribution strategies. If you were not able to tune in live, please find a link to the recording here.  Thank you to our other expert panel members:
