Dear Colleagues,

Thank you all for your ongoing commitment and incredible effort as we continue to adapt our education and research enterprises to our needs while dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.  It has been another busy week on many fronts!

This week our PharmD program leadership and faculty, along with the Office of Experiential Education held virtual town halls with students in each class of the program to discuss changes to program experiential rotations announced last week. We greatly value the input and feedback students brought forward in these discussions and we will continue to engage through virtual town halls going forward.

Earlier today I was very pleased to see announcements that additional financial support will be made available to students (EPE-2, APPE and graduate students) through the Faculty’s Shaping Student Life and Learning Fund. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this important support happen including our Registrar’s Office, Advancement and Finance teams.

I look forward to our first virtual Faculty & Staff Meeting on Monday April 20th, 9:30-10:30 via Teams.  This is an important opportunity to touch base as a community, for the Dean’s Office to share updates from across the University, and to hear your thoughts and ideas on how our collective goals are progressing.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Sincerely,

Lisa Dolovich,
Dean
