Developing a successful cancer therapy can take more than 15 years and cost upwards of $1 billion. The 5th annual Centre for Pharmaceutical Oncology (CPO) Research Symposium 2025 will bring together leading scientists, clinicians, and industry innovators to explore the transformative journey of cancer research from foundational discoveries to real-world clinical applications.
This research day will showcase groundbreaking studies, novel therapeutic approaches, and advancements in current therapies that are reshaping the landscape of cancer treatments. Attendees will gain insights into the latest research on cancer biology, molecular targets, drug formulation, preclinical studies, clinical trial design, and patient treatment, while also addressing critical challenges in translating these findings into effective therapies. Keynote presentations, graduate student presentations and a poster session will highlight the emerging technologies and novel strategies being used to bridge the gap between laboratory research and patient care. The symposium will highlight the development of innovative cancer treatments which hope to improve patient outcomes and inspire the next generation of breakthroughs in oncology.
