Canada

Inés de Lannoy is Vice President of Research and Development for InterVivo Solutions and has both pharmacokinetics (PK) and drug discovery experience, having worked at a number of biopharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations (CROs) over the past 25 years. In previous roles, she was responsible for building the in vivo PK, in vitro ADME, high throughput screening and bioanalytical capabilities of CROs, for providing as a service to pharmaceutical clients. While at Allelix Biopharmaceuticals (now NPS Pharmaceuticals), she advanced several drug candidates from discovery into clinical trials. Inés strives to develop new pre-clinical models/methods for the more accurate and facile characterization of human PK. She has expertise in the transport of xenobiotics across the blood-brain barrier, an area in which she has a keen research interest. She also serves on the editorial boards of Biopharmaceutics and Drug Disposition, Biochemical Pharmacology and Current Protocols in Pharmacology.

Inés is Assistant Professor (Status) and Associate (Restricted) Member of the Graduate Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto.
