Chan

Thomas Chan is the Director of Pharmacy Services at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and a member of the Hospital University Pharmacy Education Committee (HUPEC) at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and a Master in Business Administration specialized in finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Chan started his career as a community pharmacist in Ottawa, before joining North York General Hospital as a clinical pharmacist in 2000. His interest is in implementing technology and innovation to improve pharmacy operation and efficiency, and to enhance patient safety in medication management. 

CAMH is Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital. Pharmacy Services provides clinical services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and the team also actively engages in research, technology innovation and teaching.
