Thomas Brown is associate professor and lead, Global Scholars Initiative, at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. His professional interests include clinical pharmacy, pharmacy education and curriculum development.

Brown has served as director of the PharmD for Pharmacists program, director of the combined Bachelor of Pharmacy (BScPhm)–PharmD program and director of the post-baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy program, all at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, contributing to the development and redesign of all of these programs. He also has extensive experience in clinical pharmacy, particularly as it relates to women’s health issues such as hormone replacement therapy, emergency contraception and osteoporosis.

Brown has written numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and abstracts and presented at conferences and meetings in Canada and around the world. He has participated in various advisory boards and committees, including serving as editorial board member, editorial consultant and associate editor of the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
