Sent on behalf of Sandra Bjelajac Mejia, Interim Director, Professional Programs, Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy

Dear Colleagues,

The University of Toronto has sent the following information to all students over the weekend. Link:  https://www.utoronto.ca/message-from-the-university-regarding-the-coronavirus

I want to reassure you that we are closely following the situation and are working on a contingency plan.

Our Office of Experiential Education has completed an analysis on the numbers of potential rotations impacted in Blocks 8-10 (285 rotations) and the students mask fit compliance (100%) for these rotations. The PharmD program director is working with the Registrars Office to gather information/ processes we used during SARs.

I am working with our partners at School of Pharmacy, University of Waterloo to ensure we are consistent in our messaging to students and preceptors.

Please let me know if you have any questions our suggestions. I welcome your input as always.

Sincerely,

Aleksandra Bjelajac Mejia, BSPharm, PharmD, RPh.
