Job Description

We are looking for a committed and skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Scarborough, ON. As a Pharmacist, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications and checking prescriptions while providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
  • Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and any other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management.
  • Monitor and manage medication therapy outcomes, including conducting medication reviews and patient follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Stay updated on current pharmacy practices, regulations, and industry trends through continuing education and professional development.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., Kroll) and computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
  • Experience in Mental Health sector is preferred.
  • Injection certified.
