Dear students and graduate trainees,

Congratulations to those students who have recently finished spring term exams! While I am sure the transition to the online format was a very different experience, I congratulate each of you for your adaptability and commitment to putting your best effort forward.

Transitioning to online course and exam delivery in such a short time frame was also a significant effort for faculty and staff. While some programs at the Faculty have been holding exams online for sometime, this was a new experience for many. We are intent on learning as much as possible from this experience so that learnings and improvements can be integrated back into enhanced student experience should we need to hold online exams across our programs in future. The Education Office at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy continues to provide crucial support in these areas and is gathering feedback from instructors.

Next week our graduate program leadership will be hosting a virtual town hall.  The goal of this session will be to discuss issues pertinent to trainees including TA-ships and the effect of COVID-19 on program completion timelines, among others. Thank you to those who submitted questions in advance.

Enjoy your weekend, stay well and remember to take time for yourself.

Sincerely,
