Dear Members of the PharmSci Research Community,
As many of you may have heard, the provincial government has made an announcement regarding efforts to mitigate the rapid increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations. As a result, the province in moving into Step 2 of the Roadmap to Reopen. Effective January 5th, 2022, we will continue to operate in STEP 2 of the LDFP Guidelines for Research Restart and Recovery with no instructional space designation. The maximal capacity will be limited to 6 persons per lab module (lab space + trainee’s office space). Please follow the maximum room capacity limits posted on every door. The University of Toronto and the Faculty of Pharmacy will continue to monitor any changes to the public health directive and guidance. As more information becomes available, our research community will be notified.
It is also imperative, more than ever, that everyone respect the guidelines and processes in place at the LDFP. Please adhere to the masking policy and practice additional hygiene measures that we all know. We include the links to all relevant guidelines:
