On October 10, 2019 the University of Toronto (U of T) celebrated and honoured the tremendous impact of many of its loyal volunteers. The Arbor Awards are the highest honour granted by the U of T on volunteers for their sustained contributions to specific academic units and for broader contributions to the University at large.
Each volunteer embodies the best attributes of our motto, Velut Arbor Aevo – “May it grow as a tree through the ages.” Their work contributes to our strong foundation from which the university’s mission is able to bloom.
Four Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni were proudly celebrated for their contribution to the Faculty along with over 100 other honourees from across the university. Honourees were presented with a certificate and an oak leaf pin by Meric Gertler, President and Rose Patten, Chancellor of the University.
