We move science and health

Our scientists are actively engaged in five overarching research areas to generate new knowledge across the spectrum of drug therapy. They are catalysts for discovery of novel therapeutic targets, new drugs, medical devices, diagnostic tests or pursue solutions to provide the safest, most effective and affordable therapies as well as methodologies to foster Pharmacy practice excellence.

The scientists in this area are elucidating the biochemical and cellular basis of human diseases and the molecular mechanisms underlying drug action and their targets.
