Katie Palmer is a clinical pharmacist in the Multi-Organ Transplant program at the University Health Network. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy in 2012. Then went on to complete a General Residency Program at the University Health Network in 2013, and was awarded the Pharmacy Practice Residency Award from CSHP in 2013. She has a passion for continuing education, completing additional training in Smoking Cessation and receiving her Certified Respiratory Educator designation in 2014.
Katie currently holds an Adjunct Lecturer appointment at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. She has Lectured in Pharmacotherapy 3: Endocrinology, Nephrology and Urology, and acted as a Clinical TA in many courses, including PHM 101 in the Asthma and COPD Small Group Seminars, and facilitated discussions in PHM 400, Transition to APPE course. She also acts as a preceptor to PharmD students in the Multi-Organ Transplant Program.
