Application Process

Please review the Program Dates and Deadlines for detailed timelines. All applications to the IPG Program must be submitted through the online admissions portal.

Step 1: Create an account

  1. Go to the admissions portal (Fall 2026 applications will open in May)
  2. Click "Create Account"
  3. Enter your email address, first name, last name, and date of birth, then click “Continue.”
  4. Check your email for a temporary PIN.
  5. Enter the PIN and your birthdate, then click “Login.”
  6. Set your password.

Step 2: Create a new application

  1. Click "Start New Application"
  2. Select “2026” and “International Pharmacy Graduate Application.”
  3. Click “Create Application.”
  4. Click “Open Application.”

Step 3: Complete and Submit your application

  1. Fill out all sections of the application form.
  2. Upload all required documents (see below).
  3. Click Submit Application”
  4. Pay the $250 non-refundable application fee.
    • Note: Applications will not be processed without payment.

Step 4: Application Review and Admissions Decision

  1. Only complete applications (including all documents and fee payment) will be reviewed.
  2. Applications will be reviewed within 20 business days of submission or by August 5 (whichever comes first) to confirm minimum requirements.
  3. If requirements are not met, the Admissions Office will contact you.
  4. Final admission decisions will be issued within 20 business days of submission, and no later than August 5.

Step 5: CPS 1 Registration 

  1. Starting June 23, approved applicants will receive a registration link to pay CPS 1 tuition fees.
  2. Please review the Program Dates and Deadlines and Tuition and Financial Assistance.
  3. Approximately 14 days before the program starts, you will receive a welcome email with draft program schedule and  mandatory orientation session details 

 

Required Application Documents:

1. A recent resume with your current contact information, including address, email, phone number, and a summary of your education and career history in PDF format.

2. A letter from PEBC including your name, PEBC number, and confirmation of successful completion of your most recent PEBC qualifying exam(s).

  • If you have not successfully completed any qualifying exam(s), provide a letter confirming successful completion of the Evaluating Exam.
  • If you are a PEBC Streamlined Pathway IPG and have not completed any qualifying exam(s), upload a letter confirming successful completion of Document Evaluation.

3. Proof of Objective English Language Proficiency OR Non-Objective Evidence (NOE) of Language Proficiency (see below)

 

Objective English Language Proficiency test

Please review list of accepted Objective English Language Proficiency tests and the minimum requirements for each:

 

Please note:

  1. OET tests taken prior to December 31, 2025 will be accepted provided it is valid and meets the minimum requirements outlined here.
  2. TOEFL tests scheduled after December 31, 2025 will not be accepted.
  3. Results are valid for 2 years from the results date.

 

Accepted Documents: 

  • Copy of the official IELTs test scores showing family name, first name(s), picture, date of test, type of test (academic or general), test results for each category and overall band, test report form number and validation stamp
  • Electronic IELTs test scores showing family name, first name(s), and test report form number
  • Copy of the official TOEFL test taker score report showing full name, picture, date of test, type of test (iBT or paper-based), test results for each category and total score  
  • PDF copy of your CELPIP (general) Official Score Report from your CELPIP account 
  • PDF copy of your Pearson Test of English Core (PTE Core) Score Report 
  • PDF copy of your OET scores, showing your name, date of test and scores 

 

Non-Objective Evidence (NOE) of Language Proficiency

NOE may be considered if the evidence demonstrates the applicant’s ability to communicate and comprehend, both orally and in writing, at a level comparable to the standards established by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA).

To be considered for NOE, applicants should submit as many of the following documents as possible.

Accepted Documents: 

  • Unofficial transcripts or copy of certificate from international pharmacy program completed in English.

  • Copy of High school transcript showing completion of the final four years of schooling in Canada. 

  • Unofficial transcripts or copy of certificate from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or a certificate program completed in English.

  • Copy of Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) profile showing current registration status.

 

You must complete an online application, upload all required documents, and pay the application fee for the Admissions Committee to review your application and assess your request for Non-Objective Evidence (NOE). If there are any issues with your NOE request, the Admissions Office will contact you directly and guide you through the admissions pathway that is most suitable for you.
