What are Pharmaceutical Sciences?
Our scientists are actively engaged in research that’s transforming biomolecular science and Canada’s health-care system.
A large part of our research community is focused on the molecular basis for drug targets and diseases, as well as on drug development and disease diagnostics. They are catalysts for the discovery and development of novel therapeutic targets, nanomedicine, new drugs, medical devices and exploring the cellular basis of human disease.
Outside of the lab, many of our researchers partner with hospitals, health-care leaders and policy-makers working across Canada’s health-care system on clinical pharmacy research, drug safety and health services research. Ultimately, our shared goal is to ensure safe, effective, accessible and affordable drug therapies and pharmacy practice excellence.
Applications for September 2024 will open Thursday, September 22, 2023 at 9am and will close Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:59pm
