Casper FORMAT: The test is comprised of 2 sections; in the first portion you will be presented with six video-response format questions. In this first section there will be two word-based scenarios and four video-based scenarios to which you will respond by video recording . This will be followed by eight typed-response format questions. In this second section, you will be presented with three word-based scenarios and five video-based scenarios, to which you will respond by typing your responses. The total of 14 scenarios is to be completed in 90-110 minutes of total test time. You will also have two optional breaks throughout your sitting.
Note you may take the same version of Casper only once in each admission cycle. This one test result is provided to all schools using 'Casper 2 - CSP-10211' . If you have taken the French version of Casper note you must re-take in English as they are different test codes.
Within approximately four weeks of completing the Casper you will be provided a quartile ranking score by which will be available on your Acuity Insights account. This score indicates your standing relative to other test-takers. The higher the quartile ranking the better the score (e.g. 1 would be the lowest); however, we cannot provide information related to minimum required quartile scores since the minimum thresholds will fluctuate, based on the applicant pool, in any given year.
Accommodations: Applicants requiring testing accommodations to complete Casper should submit an Initial Request Form (Part 1 and 2) at least four (4) weeks prior to your scheduled Casper test date. Learn more about the accommodations policy.
