All applicants must register for and write the PCAT and have valid scores (i.e. for tests occurring between January 2016 and January 2020) reported directly to the University of Toronto. To be eligible for admission consideration, applicants must achieve minimum standards in each section of the PCAT. Note that the minimum standards may fluctuate from year to year and are determined, in March of each year, based on the performance of the applicant pool.

Registration dates for the PCAT open several months before each testing session. Applicants are advised to register early to ensure that they can reserve the test times and locations they desire. All candidates must write no later than the last testing date of the January testing window which has a registration deadline of December 18, 2019 for tests occurring in January 2020.  There are no exceptions.

Admission Interviews

Applicants meeting minimum academic standards and minimum thresholds in the PCAT will be invited to the Faculty to participate in the interview process. Interviews for September 2020 admission will take place in Toronto and are scheduled for:

  • Saturday, March 28, 2020
  • Sunday, March 29, 2020
  • Saturday, May 9, 2020 (preference given to out-of-province applicants who enter this as their first choice on the application)

If selected for an interview, applicants must attend on the assigned date at the assigned time and location. All applicants must comply with this requirement and must be prepared to make the appropriate travel and accommodation plans as necessary.

Admission Interview confirmation notices and information will be posted on the Applicant website early in March.
