Shaping Student Life and Learning (SSLL) was established through the generous annual donations of alumni, industry, friends, faculty and staff of the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. Each year, SSLL funds are available to students at the Faculty in support of various activities that enrich the student experience outside the classroom.
A limited number of predetermined awards are available for funding individual students who apply. The Award Committee reviews applications periodically, awarding funds based on the most current guidelines and available budget. The SSLL year runs May 1st to April 30th, and applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Please note that applications must be submitted a minimum of three weeks prior to an activity and that funding is made available only after the activity has occurred and a final report has been received. Students are eligible for only one grant per year, and Graduate students are limited to a maximum of $2000 for the duration of their program.
This year, the application process must be completed online. Students may review this template to prepare, but only applications using the online form will be reviewed. If you have any questions about the form, please contact pharmd.awards@utoronto.ca.
