Forwarded to Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Faculty Members on behalf of the University of Toronto School of Graduate Studies

We are requesting that students stay at home if they are unwell. Consequently, the University is temporarily suspending the need for a doctor’s note or medical certificate in relation to cold or flu-related absences, or self-isolation requirements. Absences for other illnesses should continue to be documented through the Verification of Illness (VOI) form and normal divisional process.

In order to receive academic accommodation, students will need to record all cold or flu-related absences, as well as self-isolation absences, through the Absence Declaration tool on ACORN (under the Profile and Settings menu).

Students should record all cold or flu-related absences, as well as self-isolation absences, through the Absence Declaration tool on ACORN. Find the tool under the Acorn Profile and Settings menu. Please note that some divisions have alternate or supplementary requirements when reporting absences, so please contact your Registrar’s Office if you have any questions.
